Memo to the WORLD!!! KIRSTIE ALLEY IS BACK!!! Yes, peeps, our girl Kirstie is back and better than ever! Starting this March 21st, “Kirstie Alley’s BIG LIFE” is coming to A&E! Cameras follow our girl around the house, along with her two kids, assorted animals, assistant and the assistant-in-training, just being Kirstie. What’s not to love about this? Here’s the trailer, courtesy of the Huffington Post – who else? Love her thin, love her fat…maybe it’s just me, but I think our girl is hot either way. What do you all think?

Snooki Update
Lost in the Kirstie Alley shuffle, but being mostly Chilean, I would assume that my Snooki has more important fish to fry this week, rather than running around from club to club. But I could be wrong.
“Lost” Report
Oooooohhhhh! Angry Claire last week! Remind me never to piss her off, especially when she has an axe in her hand. But this week's episode? "Sundown" is one of the best of Season 6, so far! The look on Sayid's face as he stabs Not Locke when Not Locke pulls out the knife (unharmed, I might add) and hands it back to Sayid is priceless. It was somewhere between a "WTF?" moment and an "oh shit, I am SO screwed" moment. Then suddenly, we're back in the alternate time line and Sayid is with his brother and sister-in-law who is, wait a minute...Nadia? And then Jin turns up saying "no English." This episode was so chock full of cross references, that I must, once again, hand you over to my pal Bill Ervolino’s “Completely Lost” site. He’s SO MUCH better at this than I am, and finds stuff I never even thought about! Actually, it’s kinda creepy, but so is “Lost” on so many levels. Enjoy! http://blogs.northjersey.com/blogs/completelylost

New show on HBO, “How to Make it in
“Caprica"
NOW, it’s getting interesting! Seems our little Tauron has a gun and she knows how to use it, even if it is in a virtual reality sort of way. Having created the first CYLON (Cybernetic Lifeform Node, to be exact), downloaded with the avatar, and the essence, of his dead daughter, Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz, whom I ADORE…oh those ginger boys!) has hopes of creating artificially intelligent soldiers, who can outthink and out maneuver humans, thereby saving countless lives in war. Graystone Industries is the leading innovator of Virtual Reality Technology, which is where his daughter, and the daughter of Joseph Adama meet. And there the story begins, with the loss of their children and the hope that they can be found again in the birth of the CYLONS. “Caprica” is every Friday night at 9pm, on the SyFy Channel. Try it out for size and let me know what you think.
“All My Children” Alert!!!

Soapbox Moment of the Day:
The Academy Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, March 7th and I cannot think of a funnier duo than Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. But, on a more serious note, I hope that the Academy comes to their senses and gives the Oscar to Gabourey Sidibe. After watching her on so many interviews, it’s so obvious that she is NOT the character she portrays on the screen, and has turned in a truly remarkable performance. Hey, I love Sandra Bullock, but really? Not better than this kid.
See you next week…maybe for a little “Desperate Housewives” update? It’s been a long time.
