Metropolitan_RoomOh, What A Night, Ladies Night returns to Metropolitan Room on September 22nd,  hosted by Broadway performer Doreen Montalvo, currently in the Tony Award winning Broadway musical In The Heights. Joining Doreen, will be Broadway and daytime actress Ilene Kristen (ABC's "One Life To Live"), recording artist and singer/songwriter Jene Hernandez, and cabaret newcomer Kimberly Reid Dunbar.

Ladies Night is a benefit event for "Help is On the Way Today," a not-for-profit organization that helps and assists children living with HIV and AIDS in New York City.  Each performer will be doing a mini set, as well as duets.

Doreen is a theatre performer and recording artist who is making Doreen_Montalvoher Broadway debut in In The Heights at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Performing as Crazy Cuca in the ensemble and the Bolero singer, Doreen can be heard singing on many CDs and has currently released her solo debut CD, Volvere with Meme Solis, which has been selected for the 2005 Latin Grammy and American Grammy consideration. She is also performing her cabaret show, I’ve Just Got to Sing My Song, all over New York City. She toured South America with the Elvis 2007 World Tour as one of the Sweet Inspirations. In addition to In the Heights, her theatre credits also include  Flora in Magpie at the New York Music Theatre Festival (AMAS), the tour of the comedy/musical show The Watercoolers, the World Premiere of Frank Loesser's Senor Discretion Himself, Manhattan Theatre Club and the O'Neill Center's Workshop of In The Heights and as the star of the critically acclaimed one-woman musical Havana Under The Sea (Cecilia) Off-Broadway at the Intar Theatre, where she won the 2003 Hola Award for Best Actress. She can also be seen on ABC's "One Life To Live."

Ilene_KristenIlene Kristen, currently on ABC's "One Life to Live" in her Emmy-nominated role of Roxy Balsom, is also well known for playing Delia Reid Ryan Ryan Coleridge Crane Coleridge on the daytime drama "Ryan's Hope," a role she originated in 1975 and  continued on and off until the show's end in 1989. She has also appeared on the daytime dramas "Loving" and "Another World." Ilene's career also includes  Broadway (Patty Simcox in the original production of Grease) and Off-Broadway (Mayor), as well as episodic TV and film. She is a prolific songwriter and performs regularly in the New York City music scene.

Singer/Songwriter Jene Hernandez, a recording artist of Utopia Records, has appeared on "Law and Order," Fame, the Music (North American Tour) and the original company of In the Heights.

Kimberly Reid Dunbar has appeared in several cabaret shows in New York City and the Off-Broadway show Magpie.

Ladies Night is September 22, 2010 with a $20 Cover and 2 drink minimum at the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, NY, NY 10010
