ScoBar Entertainment will present Heather MacRae, back on Broadway in Songs & Stories with Musical Director Mark Nadler, at The Iridium on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 8pm, FOR ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY! Heather MacRae, born to show business royalty (she’s the daughter of actors Gordon & Sheila MacRae),
is a popular fixture on the New York music scene, earning both a MAC Award for “Best Female Vocalist” (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) & a Back Stage Bistro Award. As part of Songs & Stories, Heather will be singing a few selections from her CD’s Songs for My Father (a tribute to Gordon Mac Rae) & I Choose Love; both on iTunes.
A veteran of stage, film & television, Heather has appeared on Broadway in Here's Where I Belong (Broadway debut), Hair, Coastal Disturbances, Falsettos & A Catered Affair; in Woody Allen’s Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (*But Were Afraid to Ask), Bang the Drum Slowly, Robert Altmans' A Perfect Couple, Life with Mikey & The Namesake; & on TV in “Frasier,” “The Sopranos,” Sex in the City” & “One Life to Live.”
